Fabulous collection of golf themed items, highlighted by nearly 450 postcards, exceptional variety of clubs & courses, both U.S. and some other countries with nice group from Great Britain & Scotland, including scarce Tuck designs; most from early 1900's, with players (many women), club houses, links and other views, many comic with jokes and pranks pictured, cartoon characters; lots of very scarce cards with real photo, hand tinted, some risqué (so called penny arcade), many with retail prices to $100 and more; also included are dozens of mostly first day covers, many autographed by famous golfers including ChiChi Rodriguez, Hale Irwin, Nancy Lopez, Sam Snead, Tom Watson, Gary Player, etc., and many more; many hand painted cachets such as Collins, Tollow, Ham and other scarce designs; interesting group of very scarce early cigarette cards and blotters, etc; and of course several books of stamps with an extensive selection of golf topicals; altogether an outstanding accumulation well deserving of careful valuation by the golf enthusiast.
