In combination with 1883, 2¢ red brown on cover to Philadelphia, Pa., both tied by "Atlantic City, N.J., Jun. 30, 1887" duplex postmark, receiving backstamp; trivial small cover crease at top left, Very Fine, a great on cover rarity, this being one of two on cover usages known mailed on the same day, a third usage tied on a postal card is also known; signed G.
