Cumming's City Post, 1844, 2¢ black on yellow. Margins large to slightly into frameline at left, canceled by red boxed "Free" handstamp on locally addressed folded letter with second strike of handstamp alongside, with matching red "City Despatch Post P.O., Mar. 22, 4 O'Clock" cds; stamp with small faults which has been lifted and placed back on cover, cover lightly cleaned, Very Fine appearance, this being one of two covers showing the conjunctive use of the Cumming's City Post stamp with the City Despatch Post after Cummings and Wright took over the City Despatch from Abraham Mead in 1847; with 2001 P.F. certificate.
