Showing double transfer of left frame line, upper part of side frame lines, "U" and "POST OFFICE", margins large to just in at bottom, rich color, tied by black grid handstamp on folded letter sheet to Salem, Mass., red "Boston, 5cts, Apr 22" integral rate cds, Fine, a remarkable combination of the 5¢ orange brown shade with the dramatic double transfer type F., the rarest of any 1847 5¢ double transfer and the only one which is listed but unpriced in Scott; with 2006 P.F. certificate.
