Windsor Locks, Ct./Oct. 22. Full strike of first type fancy illustrated Steamboat in Lock postmark in red, on 1833 folded letter to New Bedford, Mass., manuscript "12½" rate, letter with interesting content…we have a new Post Office lately established within a few rods of my door by the name (Windsor Locks Post Office), Very Fine, a lovely early example of this scarce marking. Estimate $500 - 750.
