1863-67, 2¢ black, Military and War Related Covers. 36 covers; with three prisoner of war covers including 2¢ black on 1¢ Star die entire (stamp & indicia cut out and hinged backed) from Rock Island Barracks, Ill., two usages from Fort Delaware prison, one franked with 2¢ black + 1¢ blue (1¢ stamp replaced), other with 3¢ rose (collateral), other covers mostly military corner cards including a few with original enclosures, many Adjutant General Office cards from various states including illustrated, with a section of selectmen addressed covers, others including Austin, Tex. drop with Headquarters Fifth Military District, Office Attending Surgeon corner card, few legal size official business covers with multiple frankings, etc.; condition varies, F.-V.F. overall.
