In combination with 1861, 1¢ blue on cover to Aberdeen, Miss., both tied by New York cds, with blue "Mails Suspended" in oval handstamp at lower right applied at the Dead Letter Office in Washington D.C., Very Fine, this suspended mail marking is known used in black in late 1862 to mid 1863, a very rare marking in blue; with 1982 P.F. certificate.
