Neatly arranged on quadrille pages, 137 stamps altogether, with #1 & 2 "Shield in Oval" design, some pen cancelled, several with town cancels, a few cut to shape, several reprints or forgeries; many serpentine roulettes, some with all teeth intact, most with circular and a few with rectangular postmarks; duplicated values to 1m yellow brown; a few of the 1875 perforated issues; mixed condition to be expected, still very worthwhile group. Estimate $750 - 1,000.
