Envelope posted at New York addressed to Paris and endorsed "p Holsatia via Cherbourg" and prepaid a convenience 10 cents for the 9 cent rate to France effective August 1874. Franked with 1873, 3¢ green + 7¢ orange vermilion tied by NYFM cancels. Exchange office transit stamp of Cherbourg for December 21st 1874 struck on front. Atlantic Transit of 10 days; cover with a few filing pinholes and 3¢ with corner nick from cover overlap, otherwise Very Fine. Scott No. 158+160 Estimate $300 - 400.
