HAPAG Line Inaugural Voyage by the "Borussia", Hamburg 1st June - New York 17th June 1856. Entire dated "Hamburg d: 26 May 1856" and headed "P Borussia" addressed to Robinson Township, Ohio. Sent under separate cover by Henry Klefeker of Hamburg to New York on the Borussia and put into the post to Ohio at the 3 cent inland rate, franked with 1851, 3¢ dull red. Atlantic Transit of 17 days, This was a non contract voyage; some archival tape reinforcement on inside, F.-V.F. Scott No. 11 Estimate $300 - 400.
