Paris - New York - Troy - Hoosick of 1823. Entire dated "Paris February 10th 1823" addressed to Troy and redirected to Hoosick. Arrived New York 5th April and charged "20½" Cents being 18½ Cents for over 150 miles of the 1816 rate plus 2 Cents ship letter fee. At Troy charge increased by a further 6 Cents for the 24 miles to Hoosick. Atlantic transit of 51 days, Extremely Fine. Estimate $200 - 300.
