Determined by Post Office to be two sheets and endorsed on reverse "Return'd to Richd Fennell for 2/ American Postage" and reposted on 7 August. Addressed to New Haven (Connecticut) and carried to New York on the packet Halifax, departing Falmouth 11 August. Charged as one ounce on delivery at New Haven, Very Fine. Estimate $1,000 - 1,500.
