B, 8th Texas Inft, Hobby's Regt, Galveston, Texas; stamp and cover faulty (portion added at bottom left); includes original 3-page letter dated July 3, 1864 to Bellinger from his mother, talks of sending cotton via Eagle Pass (Texas)., Very Fine appearance, with 2007 C.S.A. certificate declining opinion"as to this genuine label originating on this envelope", however this is as all genuine examples exist.
