United States Reference Collection. Mostly on album pages in two binders with approximately 300 stamps and dozens of covers; including section of Postmaster Provisional forgeries including New York with genuine altered and Senf Brothers imitations, Peter Winter "cover fronts", etc., regular issue 19th century including 1845 issue forgeries, genuine with 10¢ on cover tied by fake cancel, 1857, 90¢ facsimiles including some rare Oneglia creations, "improved" proofs including forged perforations, grills, removed cancels and repaired items, section of forged fancy cancels including on cover, fake Magnus patriotic covers usages, fake Bannack City Express tombstone cover, section of fake Specimen overprints, Columbian imitation sets, 20th century creations including Pan-Am inverts, bluish papers and a host of spurious coils and fake perforation items, postal forgery items including various 1890-1930's 2¢ red counterfeits, the 3¢ Prexie forgery (imperf, perf'd and used on piece) and the 8¢ Eisenhower (imperf block of four), section of $2-$20 Dept. of State issues including sheets, some local post items, etc.; some duplication to be expected.
