Spain Postal Forgery Collection. Extensive collection of 35 covers, 5 cover fronts and over 730 stamps (including 4 sheets of 100) arranged by issue on stockpages in two binders; collection starts with the rare 1854, 4c carmine forgery including on cover, on front and three used (Graus No. 4F) with each a different sub-type, 1855, 4c brown red forgeries including #5F on and off cover, #6F including cover and bluish & white paper varieties, #8F with mint used and a scarce on cover usage, the scarce #9F with two on cover usages, a rare mint #10F and used #12F, others including a #14F in unlisted mint condition (Graus cert.), 7 #16F singles including various sub-types, 6 #17F singles each with different town cancels and a on cover usage, most of the 1860-61 4c orange on green forgeries represented including #20F mint block of 4 and a rare on cover usage from Guadalajara, #24F including used on front and mint block of 4, scarce #26F mint, #29F on greenish & white paper, #30F including a sheet margin block of 10, #32F used block of 20 showing the first 20 clichés, #33F including on cover, 1r blue forgery with two singles on piece (35F), #36F including on cover usage to France, 2r brown lilac forgery including #'s 37F-39F and the rare 40F (Graus cert.), collection continues in similar fashion with other highlights including #47F 12c blue on cover to Paris and a #58F on cover, #60F (Graus illustration. copy), the rare #63Fa, #67F used block, rare #77F, an unusual #81F gutter pair, #84F mint block of 4, #85F & #90F on cover, a #96F and #114F combination forgery cover, sheets of 100 of #106F perf and imperf, 114F imperf and #121F, the rare #125F, rare mint #132F, a very rare mint #141F, a very rare #146F block of nine (10c denomination) with #144F at center (5c denomination.), combination usage of #145F on cover (illustrated in Graus), a rare #149F & #151F, the rare used #156F single and pair with Sevilla postmark (unlisted town), the very rare #159F (Graus illustration. copy, Graus cert.), various 10p telegraph stamps mostly in multiples on piece, rare #179F used on piece, etc.; a truly wonderful collection of these elusive forgeries with many better items accompanied by Graus certificates.
