Assembly of approximately 480 items mostly mounted on album pages in binder;starting with four stampless covers including 1702 forged "B" Bristol Bishop Mark, a forged Royal Bank of Scotland One Guinea banknote with original 1831 folded letter from the Collector of Customs at Grangemouth to the cashier of the bank pleading for the money for the recognized forgery, a 1795 letter with "Beare" straight line handstamp to Earl Paulette at Bridgewater accompanies a 1848 letter from New York to London bearing a straight line Beer Ship Letter straight line handstamp (both handstamps forged), caricature envelopes with unused Deraedemaker imitations including Ocean Postage designs, two different Fores's Comic Envelopes (No. 3 & 5) with substituted 1d blacks, two 1d and a 2d Mulready Envelope with fraudulently added stamps and postmarks, 1840, 1d black issue including fake "first day" on piece, genuine 1841 usage with painted in guideline through value tablet, numeral "7" and "8" in Maltese cross cancel forged on stamps tying to genuine covers, forged Chard date stamp tying 1d on piece as well as other on cover creations including 1840 May Sunday dates, stamps including repaired, forged cancels with 7 different Maltese cross numeral cancels, 1840-41, 2d blue issues including forged numeral in Maltese cross cancels with cover, 1841, variety of 1841, 2d blue issues with white lines painted in to resemble the 1840 issue, a counterfeit, etc., later QV issues with repaired, painted in plate numbers, cancels removes, fake cancellations, 8 surface print singles reperfed to remove wing margin (ex-Burrus), fake bluish paper varieties, 1892 1sh Stock Exchange postal forgery used, 1880, 2sh "BH" postal forgery, 1883 9d green forgeries and other later high value forgeries, a used abroad section of 10 covers, with covers including 1873 Brazil franked cover to Paris with added 3½d, British stamp removed and U. S. 1869 2¢ brown added in combination with Peru 1868, 1d green on cover, genuine 1866 Jacmel, Haiti and 1868 La Guayra, Venezuela stampless covers with 1865, 4d vermilion added, used in Jamaica including 1d block of 6 on piece, genuine 1868 Panama cover with 2sh added and tied by fake C35 barred oval, etc., KEVII £1 with genuine used and Lowden forgery on piece, stamps including forged Turkey and M.E.F. overprints, other items with 1935 1d-2d KEVII German propaganda forgeries, 1991 24d Machin postal forgery including 4 on piece items and mint block and a diverse section of forged Official overprints; a rare assembly of material with little duplication throughout.
