Turkey Collection Balance, 1863-1988. Comprehensive 5-volume collection starting with extensive first issue coverage and running without interruption into the 1980s with many pre-1940 issues both mint and used with some interesting covers scattered throughout. Loaded with $50 & up stamps including the 1917 "Oxhead" overprints complete, each tied on small piece by Sep 20, 1924 Istanbul cds and handstamped small "N" of Ali Noussret. Condition is a little mixed, especially on some of the higher values, but the vast majority is F.-V.F. and virtually everything from the mid 1930s onward is n.h. A tremendous lot - allow plenty of time for a careful inspection. Estimate $10,000 - 15,000.
