Well researched intact collection of thousands of stamps with Aboriginal place names postmarks, mounted and written up on quadrille pages in two full albums; cancels mainly on issues from Kangaroos, KGV heads, to the later 20th century; some Australian States seen, as well as scarce towns; most arranged alphabetically starting with Allora, Amaroo, Anakie (Queensland), Anakie (Victoria), Appila, Adjungbillly, Aldinga, Ballina, Banyo, Baradine, Bardoc, Bargo, Barwon Heads, Beeac, through to Warrnambool ('the walking place of the blessed dead' - superb on 1d Kangaroo), Watchem ('place where the hops grow'), Weewaa ('fire cart away'), Wirrabara ('gum forest'), Wilpena ('place of bent fingers'), etc, etc; truly fascinating collection that would be virtually impossible to replace.
