Extensive collection of hundreds of items mostly mounted on album pages in three binders; includes genuine throughout with many better on and off cover items, including first issue Ceres used reference, 1862 Re-issues and some on cover fakes and repaired items including dubious cancels, forgeries including E-1 "the ferocious concierge" with mint and used, multiples and 7 different format sheets, host of later forgery types including sheetlets, Fourier and several 1887 Granet reprints, Napoleon issues with 1852 issues including the 1862 Re-issues and E-0 forgery types, 1853-60 issues with 25c & 1fr Re-issues, 1fr reprints including forged cancels, fake 80c tête-bêche covers, section of 80c values with figures erased and 1fr values painted in, selection of forgeries mostly of the 1fr and 25c values including trial colors and fantasies, 1862-71 issues with fake 20c tête-bêche on cover and 80c off cover, 1863-70 issues with various dubious covers including Peru and Venezuela (ex-Burrus) combination frankings, selection of 5fr forgeries including genuine (faulty or repaired), 1871 10c surcharge fakes, a selection of 10 Ballon Monte covers most bearing various 20c issues, 1870-71 Bordeaux issues including a section of genuine on and off cover identified by report and position, including 20c type I on and off cover and other better mixed frankings, 20c Bordeaux "Faux de Pons" postal forgeries with single and 4 covers including one seized cover with a pair and a rarer "Faux d'Italie" type 2, 1870-73 issues including several forged bisect covers (ex-Burrus) and well as a genuine (Le Fulton) and fake Ballon Monte cover, several fake tête-bêche items, etc., section of Sage issues genuine, later issues including 1923 Congress fakes and genuine on Exposition cover, genuine Strasbourg sheet, Le Havre Exposition issue with several genuine, Dunkirk Region section including several signed covers, section of French Intelligence Forgeries including full sheets and on cover, 1941-42 French underground forgeries, back-of-the-book includes Postage Dues with genuine on and off cover as well as a selection of various fakes, F.M. military overprints, newspapers and telegraph issues, etc., other additional sections including more later postal forgeries, genuine 1914, 10c Valenciennes issue on and off cover and some French Post Offices Aboard (ex-Burrus).
