1940 Roosevelt-Willkie Campaign Memorabilia. Trove of well over 200 items, mostly buttons, with a myriad of slogans and patriotic themes, much deriding FDR's defying the traditional 2-term limit; such as "OUT! Stealing Third", "Dr. Jekyl of Hyde Park", "Confucius say: Man Who Stand Up Twice No Good 3rd Time", "We Don't Want Eleanor Either" and much more; also other novelties such as a red feather with "Willkie and McNary" printed on it, couple photo match book covers, handkerchief (some staining) embroidered "Win With Willkie", several items with an actual key as pun for Will"kie", etc; most buttons are quarter or half-dollar size, some smaller, a few large ones; plus some pins, wood cutouts, etc; condition is generally excellent (some occasional rusting on the undersides or pin mechanism), a fascinating lot well worth some viewing time.Estimate $250 - 350.
