Postal Card, 1885, 1¢ brown on buff. Lot of four Jefferson cards with "Hold for Postage" handstamp and additional 1¢ Banknote stamp used to uprate card to letter rate, this is due to the comic strip that has been cut out of a publication and pasted on back, Post Office regulations prohibit anything being attached to a postal card, Very Fine, most unusual and scarce, all four were mailed on the same day to the same person.
