Gordon's City Express, 1848-52, 2¢ black on green. Margins large to just into frameline at top, tied by red "New York, 10cts" integral rate cds's on cover to Mobile, Ala., with straight line "T.W. Boggs Express" handstamp at left; stamp with small surface faults which appear to be natural to the paper, Very Fine, a remarkable and unique One-Man Express and City Local combination usage; with 2009 P.F. certificate. Little is known about T.W. Boggs Express who operated in the Millerton & Buffalo area of New York. This may be the only known example of his handstamp.
