Two items, first is the only recorded manuscript postmark (Whittlesey #1, R7) on buff cover dated Sept 14, '81 franked with 3¢ green Banknote to Silverton, Or., missing backflap; second is double circle date stamp (Whittlesey #2, R7) on 1882 cover franked with target cancelled 3¢ green Banknote to Woodburn with contents, reduced at left, both Very Fine. Estimate $200 - 300.
