Calvin Coolidge (1872-1933, 33rd President 1923-29). Clipped autograph under newspaper photo on card, some light staining on card, Very Fine.

As Governor of Massachusetts, Coolidge gained prominence as a law and order politician after calling out the state guard during the Boston police strike. In 1920, he was nominated to be the Vice President under Warren Harding, and upon Harding's death in 1923, became President. Winning the Presidency in his own right in 1924, he reduced taxes, changed the immigrant quotas to favor Northern Europeans, and signed the Kellogg-Briand pact to outlaw war.
