Woodrow Wilson (1856-1924, 28th President 1913-21). Bold signature "Woodrow Wilson" as President on official White House card with original White House Official Business envelope, sent free with "Washington, D.C. Nov. 17, 1916" machine cancel.

Wilson was President of Princeton University and Governor of New Jersey prior to his 1912 Presidential election, in which he defeated Taft and Roosevelt. A Progressive, he decided to enter World War I because of Germany's continued aggression. He proposed the Fourteen Points peace plan, but his League of Nations was defeated. A stroke left him incapacitated the last two years of his term.
