1855, 10¢ green, type III, straddle copy with sheet dividing line at right plus, with ample to large margins on 2 sides and touched at bottom, tied by San Francisco, Cal cds on brown cover to Newburyport, Mass, with manuscript notation at lower left per "Str Golden Age" which carried it to Panama then overland to the Atlantic side where another steamship took it to New York, minor edge wear and tiny stain, Very Fine.
