1855, 10¢ green, type I, a stunning bottom sheet margin single (large margins other sides), deep fresh color, neatly tied on cover by San Francisco cds to Vermont, colorless embossed advertising on flap of "Lipman's Adhesive Despatch Envelope", 2005 P.F. cert. states "the stamp with a tiny surface scrape at top left edge of the circle surrounding the left 'X'", this is imperceptible and trivial at best, Extremely Fine and choice, a gorgeous stamp & cover.
