(Mexican - American War) Camp Camargo, Mexico, Aug. 25, '46, manuscript postmark with matching 10 rate on brown folded cover to Pittsburgh, Pa., the cover was carried by hand (probably by steamer from New Orleans) and mailed at Cincinnati with red straight line "Steam" & matching "Cincinnati, O." cds, Very Fine, a rare early Mexican - American War cover undoubtedly from a member of General Zachary Taylor's army in Camargoa supply base used during Taylor's assault on Monterrey.
