Hitchcock, San Francisco" imprint on cover to Tennessee, franked with 1857 3¢ dull red tied by San Francisco cds, two small cover nicks at top, one of which just touches design, Very Fine and rare, a very rare cover of which only two or three examples are know with 3¢ paying the correct rate for under 3000 miles.
