Vernon, Sept. 17 (Sutter), manuscript postmark (SUT-900) with "5" rate on 1851 folded letter sheet to State Secretary in Vallejo, Cal., "Election Returns" endorsement, slight cover staining and file folds, F.-V.F., ranked as the rarest of the 1849 towns that are known, we can only recollect one of these being sold in the last 10 years publicly plus one privately.
