Mountain City C.T Jul 14 1862, black double circle postmark ties 1861 3¢ rose on cover to Nebraska with original enclosure datelined "Central City, C.T." which talks of commerce in Colorado, Very Fine, This is the first territorial postmark used at Mountain City. Estimate $100 - 150.
This cover is addressed to the well-known banker Heath Nuckolls at Nebraska City, whose business interests had recently expanded into the new Territory of Colorado.
