Novr 15th 1862, manuscript postmark on 3¢ Postal entire to Minnesota, minor bit of wear & soiling, flap torn, F.-V.F. and rare, Opened in 1862, this office was closed in 1864 when severe floods nearly wiped out the town of LaPorte. It reopened in 1866, after the town had been rebuilt. Estimate $300 - 400.
