June 17/66, manuscript postmark on neat cover to Taos, New Mexico franked with manuscript cancelled 1861 3¢ rose, trivial reduction at right & small repair cover repairs, Very Fine and rare, This town straddles the Colorado-New Mexico border, and in 1872 the office was officially transferred to New Mexico. Only two covers are known from the Colorado Territory period. Estimate $200 - 300.
