Hong Kong, 1879-1907 Hong Kong incoming from U.S. with due markings. 4 covers, one to Foo Chow; all bearing T (taxed) markings and manuscript notations of the amount to be collected from the addressee; 1) Washington 3c postal stationery envelope bearing additional 1c and 3c (2) adhesives with killer cancels, adjacent blue "Richmond Ind. Ja 25", and black encircled T postage due mark, "Hong Kong Mr 19 79" arrival cds on back. This is the earliest seen UPU postage due cover to Hong Kong from an international origin. 2) Envelope with 5c Garfield, "Exeter N.H. Jul 7 1887" cds, and 25T on front, on back: Boston, San Francisco, and Hong Kong transit cds, and "Foochowfoo Au 23 87" arrival cds. 3) Washington 2c postal stationery envelope from Fresno,1906, with encircled T15, 4) Washington 2c postal stationery envelope cancelled "Portland Oregon May 6 1913", with rectangular duplex slogan: "World's Panama Pacific Exposition in San Francisco 1915", and two-circle postage due mark with "T Seattle" in the left circle and "30 Centimes" in the right circle, Very Fine.Estimate $200 - 250.
