Jul 9" cds on small legal size cover which has been trimmed on both sides, red "PAID" and circular "20 cut to shape" handstamp, red "New York Br Pkt Jul 12" transit cds and Calais transit cds, manuscript "6 5d" French due marking in the middle, red British transit & Havre receiving cds's on the reverse; small cover repair at lower right, F.-V.F., a scarce handstamped "20cts" rate marking on a very unusual rate cover.
