Blue double oval handstamp at lower left corner of buff cover to Mokelumne Hill with rare "Adams & Co./Express/San Francisco/California" corner card, delivered "Free" by Adams to Newell who delivered to Moquelumne Hill in Calaveras County, light filing crease and a few edge tears, Very Fine and rare, this express ran from Stockton to the Southern Mines from 1851 to 1853, a very rare & attractive exhibition item.
