1861, 3¢ rose. Tied by "New-York Nov. 17, 1862" double-circle datestamp, used as forwarding postage on small cover from London to New York City and forwarded to Hartford Conn., originally franked with G.B. 1sh Green (28), wing margin at right, tied by "London S. NO. 1, 1862" duplex, red "Paid" and "5 Cents" handstamps, small repair at top and part of top flap replaced, Very Fine and attractive, a scarce mixed franking usage, with 1996 P.F. certificate.
