A.E.F. World War I Cover Collection - A.P.O.'s 800-850. Approximately 60 covers and cards of the elusive "800's" mounted and most annotated on pages in Scott album; many scarce to rare postmarks throughout; strong showing of earliest known usages including APO's 804, 807, 830, 837, etc., other highlights include APO 815 postmark on post card dated Nov 11, 1918 Armistice Day, 10 usages of APO's between 818 and 825 from forces in Italy, a scarce "mobile" unit APO 827 postmark on cover (ex Sanford), a rare APO 830 postmark and an extremely rare APO 848 postmark in red, etc.; a wonderful group of scarce covers (no photo).
