1909, 15¢ pale ultramarine, bluish paper. Immaculate Post Office fresh original gum which has a trace of having been very lightly hinged once, perfectly centered amid evenly balanced margins, bold bright color on bright distinctively blued paper, exceptionally fresh, a Superb gem, a spectacular example of the 1909 15¢ bluish paper, which is undoubtedly the finest known example in existence; with 2002 P.F. certificate and 2002 P.S.E. graded certificate (Superb 98). This is the highest graded stamp in the P.S.E. Population Report and will undoubtedly remain there for quite some time. While many of the more common issues will have the previous highest grade eclipsed, a truly rare stamp such as this, has few, if any equal.
