Fancy double circle postmark (Williams ELD-2550) with manuscript date "Oct. 14" at center on buff cover to Kentucky with matching "Paid" in double oval with manuscript "6" rate, small sealed cover tear at right & stain at top, Very Fine and rare, one of the few fancy type postmark of California.
