Black on green circular label (Mosher CARX-L4) on 1853 folded letter to Boston from Bangor (June 6, 1853) with manuscript "$100" at top left & "Paid" at bottom right, letter is regarding the order of 25 boxes of "best No. 1 fire crackers", undoubtedly for the 4th of July, label with piece out at top right & left side flap missing, Very Fine and rare. Estimate $300 - 400.
