Beautifully illustrated letterhead showing "Six Horse Drawn Stage", written by William Buckley, superintendent of the firm to Dr. Thomas Flint, one of the owners of the Stage line, three page letter all on illustrated letterhead with interesting contents regarding Postal routes & contracts, sent by Wells, Fargo & Co. in 1874 in 3¢ green entire (roughly opened at right) with black company frank & "Wells, Fargo & Co./San Jose" oval handstamp. Estimate $300 - 400.
