Two singles tied by purple "Posted in the Free Philippines, Mindanao Guerilla Area, 16 May, 1945" oval date stamp on cover addressed to Los Angeles, Cal., matching censor handstamp at lower left, Very Fine, an very rare usage of this private WWII military issue. With only 500 stamps were issued and 36 covers known, this cover may be the only known double franking usage. Estimate $750 - 1,000.
