Three rim postmark (Williams TUO-1380) with manuscript date "22" on blue folded cover to San Francisco franked with 1851 3¢ cancel by delicate grid of dots, letter is written on June 18, the day of the great fire which destroyed the town of Sonora and refers to the fire, "Sonora is all burnt to Hell, we saved all of our Merchandise & stock.", F.-V.F.
