Two partial strikes of town postmark (Williams NAP-680) tying 1851 1¢ blue, type II + 3¢ dull red, block of 3 on 1855 cover to Washington City, D.C., restored internal cover hole and horiz file fold affecting bottom 3¢ stamp, F.-V.F. appearance, most likely the earliest known usage of the 10¢ west to east coast rate from Nappa City affective April 1, 1855.
