Rare integral rate postmark in red (Williams ELD-420) on 1850 blue folded letter to Rhode Island, letter dateline "Greenwood, June 28th, '50", with notation "Since dating this I have learned that the name of this place is Louisville", cover incorrectly rated with two strikes of red "Culloma, Alta Cal./12½" integral rate cds (Williams ELD-430) with the "12½" crossed out in blue manuscript, integral 40 rate cds then applied, lengthy miner's letter to his wife with a description of the country & conditions (Letter transcribed), some minor discoloration, F.-V.F., a very usage, ex-Kutz.
