[Florida] 1807 Mail to Spanish West Florida, from Mississippi Terr. 2 folded letters from correspondence addressed to Thompson Creek and one directed to Bayou Sarah, New Feliciana, one letter from Capt. Edmund Gaines, 2nd regt. datelined "Camp Columbian Springs, Sept. 27, 1807", this camp adjoined Ft. Adams which together with Ft. Stoddart were intended to protect New Orleans along the 31st parallel (boundary of Spanish W. Florida), letter refers to orders to march to (Tom) Big Bay, a river along which rebellion occurred, Very Fine.
