Confederacy, Pickensville, S.C., manuscript postmark on two covers from correspondence to Pickens C.H.; one on 1861 folded letter with manuscript "Pd 5" rate, other with "Paid 10" rate (wear and soiling), also another from correspondence franked with manuscript canceled 1863, 10¢ blue (11) with no postmark (with enclosure…"Direct your letter to Pickensville"), and an incoming cover "via Greenville C.H., S.C." franked with 1861, 5¢ green, two singles (1, distinctively different shades) tied by indistinct cds (edge wear), F.-V.F (Stets & Teal Rarity 7).Estimate $300 - 400.
