Postmaster, affixed on reverse of cover from England to Iowa, label tied by Emmitsburgh, Iowa arrival postmark, the stamp has soaked off as always, Very Fine for this and with the label rarely tied, Unlisted in Milgram.Milgram No. 1037A Estimate $200 - 300.
These labels were affixed to covers to identify mail salvaged from the vessel sunk off Fire Island on March 14, 1886.
