1861, 3¢ rose, two singles, on incoming cover from the Bahamas to Boston, Mass., one uncanceled with Bahamas, 1863, Queen Victoria, 4d bright rose, perf. 12½ horizontal pair (13, S.G. 26) affixed over stamp and canceled by barred "A03" oval handstamps, reverse with "Bahamas, Sp 2" cds, other single canceled by "New York, Br. Pkt., Oct 1" cds with second strikes tying pair, blue crayon "Due 2" rerated to "7", Bahamas pair lifted and hinged in place for display, some cover edge nicks and part of backflap missing, F.-V.F., a very unusual incoming cover bearing U.S. franking in attempts to pay rate; with 1963 B.P.A. certificate.
